VW Beetle 1303s

First registered in June 1973, this is a Classic VW Beetle 1303 super Recent and past work undertaken Has had one registered keeper for a considerable time from 1996 until 2018

The file of paperwork shows an amount of work done to it from 2014 until 2018, costing nearly £2,000, which included new carpets, lots of new chrome, a complete front side panel, new front and rear aprons and countless seals, pipes and cables. After this work was done, it was taken for a ‘look over’ at another garage with a further £1500 spent quite a look! The oil was changed, the carb was cleaned out and engine tuned, all the bodywork was looked over and corrected where necessary, rear brake shoes were replaced, new wiper motor and blades were fitted, offside chassis bolts were re-fitted and the engine was removed so the clutch assembly could be correctly adjusted and fitted. In the last month the car has had all new battery, tyres, track rod end, oils and filters.

The car has also had some paintwork done and now looks resplendent. All in all about £1200 spent The odometer reads 25800 – but I can only trace mileage back to 2006 when it was 24000 miles that’s 1800 miles in 15 years!! The car starts first time and runs well – it is an original car and not modernised (other than radio) and is HPI clear.

The car will be supplied with workshop manuals, two keys and importantly a replacement dashboard as the existing has had a repair in the past which is bit clumsy. Lovely, bright and charming
