Description
This superb 1959/60 car is in a glorious Chariot Red and has been subject to comprehensive refurbishment after being imported from the USA circa 1989/ 90 at minimum cost of £12000 and completed in 1992 – with large history file and too many details to list but the main points are:
• Moss Europe supplied bodyshell, preparation and final paint by Michael Hibberd
• Extensive Nut and Bolt rebuild starting from 1989 supported by many invoices and much expense. Much work has been undertaken by heritage specialist Moto-Build
• Stone chip prevention on wings and inner arches
• Complete engine rebuild by MG Mech Spec. rebore to 1622cc plus gearbox strip and attention. Twin SU carburettors rebuild
• Diff splines
• Seat belt kit
• Full Tonneau
• New roof
• Side screens
• Fire extinguisher
The last owner has also pampered this MGA since 2009 where she even resided in a heated garage. Hope pictures do it justice and truly beautiful example.
