MG TD – Renovated

The MG TD is a British sports car that was produced from 1949 to 1953. It was a modernised version of the MG TC, with a 4 speed transmission, independent front suspension, and rack & pinion steering.
The engine is a 1489 cc, four-cylinder unit delivering 68 bhp. Despite its age (1950) is easy to drive, with a conventional pedal layout and traditional gearshift pattern.
In Design The TD is 5 inches wider than the TC, with a track of 50 inches and its standard equipment includes bumpers with over-riders plus plump seats give it a sporting feel also enhanced by its lightweight frame
This particular 1950’s car has been professionally renovated to an extensive level as can be witnessed by the pictures or better still a personal visit. This includes new interior trim, seats, carpets, dashboard and replacement engine. Naturally the car still retains its originality and oldy worldy appeal and she drives really well
