Ford Mustang 5.0ltr V8

This is a 1968 Mustang fitted with a 302 upgrade and some quite rare options. Owned by the last custodian for 10 years, and originally purchased from the headman (at the time) of the Mustang Owners Club GB who imported the car in about 2016

In the tenure of the last owner this Mustang has had an upgraded Borgeson Power steering box and pump and a Monte Carlo Bar (a bar that was developed by Carroll Shelby to stop shock tower flex and maintain proper wheel alignment during hard cornering)

In 2025 the brakes and replaced all shoes and hardware, fluids and its stops ok considering its manual drums all round, at this time.

The original build specification and work undertaken in the USA included:
• C4 automatic
• Factory console Convenience Control Panel which are the 4 lights in the middle of the dash
• Tilt away steering visibility group which is a light in the glove box under the hood and in the boot.
• Power steering-
• AM radio
• Tinted Glass
• Deluxe interior trim and seat belts
• Chrome Styled Wheels
• Original rear axle with 2. 79 gears
• Indicator (tell-tale) lights in bonnet
• Thereafter the car benefitted from a 302 engine upgrade complete with intake manifold to the exhaust manifolds often referred to in performance circles as a Complete Top End Performance Kit.
• 68 J code four-barrel manifold from a 68 Shelby GT350
• A 600 Holley
• Front end kit with upper and lower control arms tie rod ends bushings etc.
• Stainless steel headers and dual exhaust system complete with dura max mufflers and rebuilt drive line.
• Replacement emergency brake cable
• Monroe shocks
• Replacement petrol tank and new bumpers
• Chrome engine dress up for valve covers air cleaner and oil filter
• Rebuilt heater with heater core foam kit defrost plenum and cables
• Replaced window rollers
• Door panels, arm rest door pulls, dash pad and dash mat
• Respray to the original colour of Acapulco Blue
• Replaced windscreen (tinted) the rest of the windows are original and factory tinted.
• The chrome rally wheels are original with centre caps/ beauty rings.
